Day 01

Guwahati – Shillong (100 kms / 03 hrs.)

On arrival at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station & transfer to Shillong (4,900 ft.), which is called 'Scotland of the East". Enroute visit Umiam Lake, a majestic placid lake with its surrounding sylvan hills. On arrival at Shillong, check in at your hotel. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Day 02

Excursion to Cherrapunjee (60 kms / 3 hrs. One Way)

After an early breakfast, proceed for a full-day excursion to Cherrapunjee (4,400 ft.), renowned as one of the wettest places on earth. En route, stop to admire the cascading Elephanta Falls, soak in the breathtaking vistas from Mawdok Dympep Valley Viewpoint, and explore the unique Garden of Caves. On arrival, witness some of Cherrapunjee’s most spectacular natural wonders including the majestic Nohkalikai Falls (the tallest plunge waterfall in India), the enchanting Nohsngithiang Falls (Seven Sisters Falls), and the fascinating limestone formations inside the Mawsmai Caves. In the evening, drive back to Shillong for an Overnight stay at Shillong.

  • Please note the itineraries are subject to change. It always depends on the time available and weather conditions. Part of the itinerary may be cancelled without prior notice.   • Payment phases: 40% payment of the total land package at the time of booking.
  • Full land package payment must be done 20 days before the date of Journey.
  • Payment for flight tickets / rail tickets / cruise etc must be paid in advance.
  • Any Cancellation due to / change in time schedule of airlines / ferry / train and a NO show for whatever reason -no refund will be applicable.
  • Refund for flight ticket / train ticket / ferry ticket / cruise ticket cancellation will be as per the airline / railway / ferry company / cruise company cancellation policy if it is booked through us.
  • Customer must re-confirm the flight / train / cruise timings before they board the flight / train / cruise. If there is No show for whatsoever reason Travellers Paradise LLP cannot be held liable for refund / rebooking of the travel itinerary.
  • If you wish to cancel any booking in full or partial cancellation of a passenger, a written notification should be made by the same person who booked the package. The date of cancellation will be the date on which notice is received by us. All cancellations will attract a sum of Rs.5000/- minimum service charge. Cancellation refund will be processed based on the following policy-
    • If cancelled 0- 20 days before the Check-in-date 100% package amount will be charged.
    • If cancelled 21-30 days before the Check-in-date 30% of the package amount will be charged.
    • No refunds for unused nights or early check-outs.
    • No refund for no show.
