Day 01

Guwahati Arrival

Arrival at Guwahati International Airport or Guwahati Railway Station, meet and greet upon arrival by our local representative. After reaching, transfer to hotel. Check-in at the hotel. Later after lunch, visit Srimanta Sankaradeva Kalakshetra, Brahmaputra River Front. In the evening you can either go for Brahmaputra Sunset River Cruise, or you can go for shopping at Fancy Bazar. Overnight stay at Guwahati.

Guwahati – Shillong (100 kms, 3 hrs approx)

Today morning, visit Kamakhya Temple – Shaktipeeth situated on the Nilachal Hills. Later transfer to Shillong – known as Scotland of the east which is a popular hill station of northeast India. En-route visit Umiam Lake (Barapani lake) – largest manmade lake of the state Meghalaya.  After reaching Shillong, visit Don Bosco Museum, Ward's Lake, Polo Ground, Evening if time permits, visit Police Bazar. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong (90 kms, 3-4 hours approx)

Morning after breakfast, we will go for a day long excursion to Mawlynnong – known as Asia’s Cleanest Village. At Mawlynnong, visit Living Root Bridge and Natural Balancing Rock and the beautiful Mawlynnong village. After lunch, proceed to Dawki. Visit Umngot river and Indo-Bangladesh border. Later, drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

Shillong – Cherrapunji – Shillong (60 km, 2 hours approx)

Today morning after breakfast, proceed for Cherrapunji, known as one of the wettest place in the world. After reaching, visit Living Root Bridge (early morning and as per time permits). Later after lunch, visit numerous waterfalls like Nohkalikai falls, Mawsmai falls, Dainthlen Falls, Eco Park. After lunch, proceed to experience the adventure of caving at Mawsmai cave. Later, drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay at Shillong.

  • Any Cancellation due to / change in time schedule of airlines / ferry / train and a NO show for whatever reason -no refund will be applicable.
  • Refund for flight ticket / train ticket / ferry ticket / cruise ticket cancellation will be as per the airline / railway / ferry company / cruise company cancellation policy if it is booked through us.
  • Customer must re-confirm the flight / train / cruise timings before they board the flight / train / cruise. If there is No show for whatsoever reason Travellers Paradise LLP cannot be held liable for refund / rebooking of the travel itinerary.
  • If you wish to cancel any booking in full or partial cancellation of a passenger, a written notification should be made by the same person who booked the package. The date of cancellation will be the date on which notice is received by us. All cancellations will attract a sum of Rs.5000/- minimum service charge. Cancellation refund will be processed based on the following policy-
    • If cancelled 0- 20 days before the Check-in-date 100% package amount will be charged.
    • If cancelled 21-30 days before the Check-in-date 30% of the package amount will be charged.
    • No refunds for unused nights or early check-outs.
