The Chardham Yatra is a spiritually enriching journey through the serene landscapes of Uttarakhand, covering four sacred shrines—Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath—each holding deep religious significance.

Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River, is home to the revered Yamunotri Temple and natural hot springs, offering both spiritual solace and rejuvenation. Gangotri, where the sacred Ganges River originates, is a pilgrimage hub, with devotees flocking to the Gangotri Temple and the pristine Gaumukh Glacier to seek divine blessings.

Kedarnath, dedicated to Lord Shiva, is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India, set against a backdrop of snow-capped peaks. The journey to this high-altitude shrine is an experience of devotion and endurance. Badrinath, devoted to Lord Vishnu, is nestled along the Alaknanda River, offering a blend of spiritual sanctity and breathtaking landscapes.

The ideal time for this pilgrimage is May to June and September to October, when the weather remains favorable. Alongside their spiritual quest, pilgrims also relish traditional delicacies like Rajma, Phaanu, Aloo ke Gutke, and Gulab Jamun. In Badrinath, temple prasad such as Khichdi and Puri adds a sacred touch to the journey.

-Carry enough cash – ATMs are scarce, especially in remote high-altitude areas.

Day 01

Arrival in Delhi & Transfer to Haridwar

In the morning, meet our representative at Airport or Railway station. Begin your journey to Haridwar and check into your hotel upon arrival. In the evening, visit Har Ki Pauri and Ganga Aarti. Overnight stay at Haridwar.

Day 02

Day 02: Haridwar to Barkot (210 km / 7-8 hrs)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Barkot. Enroute, visit Mussoorie Mall Road and Kempty Falls (if traffic permits). Continue your drive to Barkot and check into your hotel upon arrival. Overnight stay at Barkot.

Day 03

Barkot to Janki Chatti and Yamunotri (35 km drive & 6 km trek one side)

After an early breakfast, drive to Janki Chatti. From here, begin your trek to Yamunotri (6 km) you can either walk, take a horse, or use a doli (at your own cost). Upon reaching Yamunotri, take a dip in the warm waters of Surya Kund (Hot Spring) and enjoy Darshan of "Yamunaji". Afterward, return on the same trek to Janki Chatti. Later, drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay.

Day 04

Barkot to Uttarkashi (100 km / 4 hrs)

After breakfast, relax for a while and then drive to Uttarkashi. On the way, visit Shiv Gufa. Upon arrival in Uttarkashi, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple. After the visit, check into your hotel. The rest of the day is free for relaxation. Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 05

Uttarkashi to Gangotri (100 km / 3-4 hrs each side)

After an early breakfast, drive to Gangotri. On the way, visit Gangnani Hot Spring and take a holy dip in the Kund. Continue your drive to Gangotri via the scenic Harsil Valley, known for its natural beauty and stunning views of the Himalayan mountains. Upon arrival at Gangotri, take a holy dip in the sacred Ganges (also known as Bhagirathi at its origin), and perform the Pooja and Darshan. Spend some time relaxing in the serene surroundings. Later, drive back to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay.

Day 06

Uttarkashi to Guptkashi (220 km / 8-9 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Guptkashi via Moolgarh and Lambgaon. Enroute, enjoy the scenic views of the Mandakini River at Tilwara. The Mandakini River originates from Kedarnath, and you'll drive alongside it on your way to Guptkashi. Upon arrival, visit the Ardh Narishwar Temple in Guptkashi. Check into your hotel upon arrival in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 07

Guptkashi to Kedarnath (30 km by road & 14 km trek one way)

Morning after breakfast, we will proceed to Kedarnath (Height: 3384 meters). You have two options to reach Kedarnath: by trekking or by helicopter. Upon arrival, visit the Kedarnath Temple, check into the hotel/ashram, and visit the Shankaracharya Samadhi. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

By Helicopter: In the morning, our driver will transfer you to the nearest helipad (Phata, Guptkashi, Sirsi, etc.) based on your helicopter ticket time. Please inform the driver of the helicopter timings a day in advance, as different aviation services operate from different locations. The driver will ensure you are dropped off at the helipad and taken to the hotel after your arrival. Advance booking for the helicopter is highly recommended.

By Trekking: To reach Kedarnath by trekking, you will first drive to Sonprayag after breakfast. From Sonprayag, you can take a local jeep to Gaurikund (5 km drive, available on a sharing basis at your own cost). From Gaurikund, the 14 km trek to Kedarnath begins.

Day 08

Kedarnath to Guptkashi (30 km by road & 14 km trek one way)

After breakfast, explore the nearby areas of Kedarnath on foot. Later, return to Guptkashi by either trekking or helicopter, as per your choice. Upon arrival, check into your hotel in Guptkashi. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

By Helicopter: Please inform the driver about your approximate return time and the helipad location (as mentioned on your ticket) when you leave for Kedarnath. Our driver will pick you up from the helipad and transfer you to your hotel in Guptkashi.

By Trek: Inform the driver about your approximate return time. Once you reach Gaurikund from Kedarnath, take a local jeep to Sonprayag. Our driver will meet you there. Due to parking issues, keep the driver’s contact number with you and call him when you reach Sonprayag so he can pick you up. The jeep from Gaurikund to Sonprayag is at your own cost. Be sure to get a packed breakfast from the hotel to start early. Horse/Pony/Palakhi services are also available at Gaurikund for the trek; guests can book these at their own cost.

Day 09

Guptkashi to Badrinath (220 km / 9-10 hrs)

After breakfast, drive to Badrinath. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Pilgrims can take a holy dip in the Taptkund and then proceed to have Darshan of Badrivishal. In the evening, participate in the Aarti. Visit Brahmakapal, which is significant for Pinddan (Shraddh) rituals for ancestors (Pitrus). There are other interesting sightseeing spots nearby, such as Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Maatamoorti, Charanpaduka, Bhimkund, and the "Mukh of the Saraswati River," all located within 3 km of Badrinath. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Departure

  • If you wish to cancel any booking in full or partial cancellation of a passenger, a written notification should be made by the same person who booked the package. The date of cancellation will be the date on which notice is received by us. All cancellations will attract a sum of Rs.5000/- minimum service charge. Cancellation refund will be processed based on the following policy-
    • If cancelled 0- 20 days before the Check-in-date 100% package amount will be charged.
    • If cancelled 21-30 days before the Check-in-date 30% of the package amount will be charged.
