Arrival at Tezpur Airport. You will be received by our representative. Meet and greet at the Airport and then proceed to Bhalukpong – a small town lies in the border of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

Day 02

Bhalukpong – Dirang (200 km, 6 hrs approx.)

Today morning after breakfast, proceed to Dirang, a small and beautiful valley which is famous for hot water springs where people take bath to cure skin ailments, En-route visit Nag Temple.  On the way enjoy breathtaking beauty of Kameng river. If time permits, visit Dirang Monastery and Kalachakra Monastery. After reaching, check into the hotel. Evening free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in Dirang.

Dirang – Tawang (140 km, 5 hrs approx.)

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and proceed to Tawang (11,500 ft.). – the land of Monpa Tribes & major centre of the Mahayana Buddhists. On the way to Tawang lies the world’s second highest pass – Sela Pass (13700ft) which run through a small ridge & along a lake called Sela Lake. En-route visit Nuranang Waterfalls. On arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at Tawang.

Tawang Sightseeing

After breakfast explore Tawang like “Asia’s second largest monastery” Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, War Memorial, and visit Jaswant Garh, a memorial to the brave soldier who single handily tried to hold of approaching Chinese from the pass during the 1962 Indo-Chinese war. Evening free for shopping activities in the handicrafts market. Overnight stay at Tawang.

If time permits, visit Nameri National Park - is a national park in the foothills of the eastern Himalayas in the Sonitpur District of Assam, which is also known for Tiger Reserve and visit Jia Bhoroli River. If weather permits, one can go for boating in the river. Overnight stay at Bhalukpong.

  • Customer must re-confirm the flight / train / cruise timings before they board the flight / train / cruise. If there is No show for whatsoever reason Travellers Paradise LLP cannot be held liable for refund / rebooking of the travel itinerary.
  • If you wish to cancel any booking in full or partial cancellation of a passenger, a written notification should be made by the same person who booked the package. The date of cancellation will be the date on which notice is received by us. All cancellations will attract a sum of Rs.5000/- minimum service charge. Cancellation refund will be processed based on the following policy-
    • If cancelled 0- 20 days before the Check-in-date 100% package amount will be charged.
    • If cancelled 21-30 days before the Check-in-date 30% of the package amount will be charged.
